About Goa Carnival :-
Goa carnival is one of the most enthusiastic celebrations of western style in India. A hot favorite among revellers all around the world, the Goan carnival is known for its riotous merrymaking. You will be entertained thoroughly with beautifully decorated floats, live music and dancing of many ethnic origins. Specialty of this carnival is the rich blend of cultures and religions that is seldom witnessed anywhere else. You will have wide choice of food and drinks including many Indian as well as International cuisines. The land of Sun, Sand and Sea is a treat for beach and sea lovers during this season in particular.
Goa carnival normally lasts for a week in the month of February. The exact dates this year will be in the last week of February. The peak time of celebrations will be 21th to 24th February. There will be many carnivals during this time. Mostly as a tradition it is celebrated six weeks prior to the Easter Sunday.
Itinerary Details :-
DAY 1 :Mumbai - Goa
Arrive at Mumbai Intl. Airport; meet our local representative transfer to Domestic Airport as per the schedule time to board the flight for Goa. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening free to participate in the Goa Carnival (mirror of Portuguese culture & style of festivities). Overnight at hotel.
DAY 2 :Goa
Breakfast at Coffee shop & later visit Calangute Beach (One of the famous beaches of the the world).Rest of the day free for leisure. Evening enjoy the festival with Goan delicious food & wine, watching dance & songs. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 3 :Goa
After breakfast at coffee shop explore the historical city & preserved heritage which is ready to tell the story of glorious past. Visit Aguada Fort, Chapora Fort & one of the famous churches of the city including the Basilica of Balm Jesus and Sea Cathedral etc. Evening participate the festival. Night stay at hotel.
DAY 4 :Goa
Breakfast at Coffee shop of the hotel and visit the local Fishing Village to witness the village culture. Later on enjoy the Boat Ride at the Mandovi river. Evening free to enjoy the carnival.
DAY 5 :Goa - Mumbai
Breakfast at Coffee shop of hotel & free for the time until departure as per the scheduled time for onward journey. Tour Concludes with happy memories.
